iQOO 15 Officially Launched in China with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and 7,000mAh Battery
iQOO 15 has officially debuted in China as the brand’s latest flagship gaming smartphone. Powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the iQOO 15 brings significant upgrades over its predecessor, the iQOO 13. It combines cutting-edge hardware, next-gen gaming performance, and advanced camera technology to create one of the most powerful Android phones of 2025.
Immersive 2K AMOLED Display with 144Hz Refresh Rate
The iQOO 15 sports a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 AMOLED LTPO display with a 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring silky-smooth visuals. The screen supports up to 2,600 nits peak brightness, 2160Hz PWM dimming, DC Dimming, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ for lifelike contrast and color accuracy. It also includes an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for fast and secure unlocking.
Flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Performance
Under the hood, the device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with iQOO’s Q3 gaming chip for optimized performance. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The iQOO 15 runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6, offering improved system stability and enhanced gaming optimization.
Triple 50MP Camera Setup with Sony Sensors
The iQOO 15 features a versatile triple-camera system: a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor (1/1.56-inch) with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens using the Sony IMX882 sensor for 3x optical zoom, and another 50MP ultrawide camera for expansive shots. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera captures detailed portraits and supports high-quality video calls. An RGB LED strip around the camera adds a premium aesthetic touch.
Massive 7,000mAh Battery and Superfast Charging
Powering the iQOO 15 is a huge 7,000mAh single-cell silicon-carbon battery. It supports 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging, ensuring ultra-fast recharging times. Additional features include smart bypass charging and reverse charging capabilities, perfect for on-the-go users.
Advanced Cooling and Connectivity
For thermal management, the phone uses a 14,000mm² vapor chamber cooling system that maintains stable performance during intensive gaming sessions. Other highlights include dual stereo speakers, IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and dual-band GPS for accurate navigation.

The iQOO 15 is available in Track Edition (Black), Legendary Edition (White), Lingyun, and Wilderness (Light Green) color options. Pricing in China is as follows:

- 16GB + 256GB – CNY 4,499 (~$630)

Additionally, iQOO has announced a “Honor of Kings 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition” featuring 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, priced at CNY 5,499 (~$770).
