Vivo X70 Pro + cameras tested in DxOMark

The Vivo brand is slowly beginning to catch on in our market, even though their current flag line is still not available in our country. It is dominated by the Vivo X70 Pro +, which first appeared to the world this September. Of course, his equipment is great and he has made ambitions even in the category of cameras. He was finally tapped at DxOMark, and the phone certainly didn't disappoint. He got into the Top 10 with an overview and thus confirmed his affiliation with the absolute top. Not to mention that this is the second cheapest model in the aforementioned Top 10.

At least on paper with cameras, the Vivo X70 Pro + has a lot to offer, because the list of sensors looks impressive. The main 50 Mpx sensor Samsung GN sf / 1.57 complements the 48 Mpx ultra-wide with gimbal stabilization and a pair of 12 Mpx + 8 Mpx telephoto sensors with 2x and 5x optical zoom and OIS options. All this with Zeiss optics and a special lens surface also from this company to minimize glare and lens flare. The Snapdragon 888+ chipset with a dedicated V1 image processing chip will also do its job very well.

In the tests themselves, the Vivo X70 Pro + scored a total of 135 points, equaling, for example, the Pixel 6 Pro result. But that was not enough for the leading pair of Huawei P50 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra (144 and 143 points, respectively). Reviewers praised the excellent exposure, dynamic range and accurate colors, as well as low noise in low light or effective stabilization. But he liked the slower autofocus, the noise in the video in low light conditions or the occasional artifacting less. The new Vivo certainly did not disappoint, although the creators may have gone a hair higher. Then maybe it will work out next time.
