The big boss of the company, Lei Jun, did not forgive the words in the interview about the comparison of the basic models Xiaomi 12 and iPhone 13. According to him, the detailed comparative analysis is very favorable for the novelty from Xiaomi. And looking at the list of parameters, you can basically agree with it. Xiaomi 12 has a lead in a better 120 Hz display, better battery and several times higher level of charging options. Chief Xiaomi also mentions the high quality of the sound, but we will probably have to wait for specific reviews. The main trump card, of course, is the price, because $ 580 for the basic model is great when looking at the parameters. So in China…
And in Xiaomi, they definitely don't plan to rest on their laurels. Yesterday, they announced a substantial increase in investment in development. Two years ago, they sent a report of 50 billion yuan (about $ 7.5 billion) in investment plans for the next five years, but they have now doubled to a staggering 100 billion yuan. Another very good news is the departure from the hypocritical omission of chargers in the packaging of phones. Both the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro come nicely packed with a suitable charger (67W or 120W) and USB Type-C cables. With the lightweight Xiaomi 12X, there is a choice between an "ecological" version and a package with a charger.
