Realme GT 2 passed Geekbench tests with Snapdragon 888

The Realme GT 2 series phones will probably be the first to be seen in the New Year's region. The manufacturer has planned a presentation on January 4 / January , which will present the Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro models. Of course, there has been a lot of talk about both phones on the network in recent days, but the Pro version pickers are still paying more attention. But today we will look at the standard GT 2, because it has just passed tests on the Geekbench platform .

Although we will not read many parameters of the Realme GT 2 phone from the test report, we can at least find out which processor is driving it. The phone with the code RMX3310 and eight core chipsets from Qualcomm workshops passed the tests. Its maximum clock speed is 2.84 GHz and it has the internal designation "lahaina". As we already know, it belongs to the Snapdragon 888. The processor was supplemented by 12 GB of operating memory and the Android 12 system during testing. It is likely that the manufacturer will also add its Realme UI 3.1 extension. In the single-core test, the phone gained 1136 points and in the multi-core test 3381 points.

Thanks to this information, we can confirm that the standard GT 2 will not be a flagship, but it is still a premium device. In addition, it has been certified by Tenaa, NBTC and BIS, so we can add some other specifications. The AMOLED display has a diagonal of 6.62 inches. The already mentioned Snapdragon 888 will add, in addition to 12 GB of RAM, 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage. The battery is said to have a capacity of 5000 mAh and support 65 W charging. The main camera is triple with a primary 50 MPix sensor and then with an 8 MPix wide angle lens and a 2 MPix sensor. We will certainly find out the other parameters in a few days at the official performance.
