One week ago, the new Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro phones were served to the public, but after the Ultra variant, I can't see or hear them yet. However, previous speculation about its move to the MIX series is unlikely to be confirmed in the end. Prominent Chinese analysts are adamant that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will eventually appear on the market under this name. And the wait wouldn't even have to be extra long, because he is talking about the performance in the second half of February. That real enthusiasts will start saving quickly, because it will be a really expensive piece without debate.
As always, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be packed with only the best that can be found in the mobile industry. The company will once again intend to conquer the prestigious DxOMark ranking, so small miracles are expected from the camera of this phone. Some time ago we had the opportunity to see the first renders with an estimated design, which was significantly different from the pair of siblings from the new series. This design was confirmed today by pictures of the phone's aluminum model. The source looks quite plausible, although no one will ever put a hand in the fire behind it.
At first glance, the phone model is dominated by a monstrous rear camera module. It is circular and occupies almost half of the rear panel without much exaggeration. Of course, it also stands out significantly from the body of the phone. The entire dimensions of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra model are quite massive, so it will definitely not be a small or light phone. The rounded edges of the phone are also no surprise. As for the specific specifications of the giant camera, according to behind-the-scenes sources, it should be a triple system. It should then include a 50 Mpx + 48 Mpx + 50 Mpx sensor assembly with extreme zoom capabilities.
