Already at the end of last year, the iQOO brand announced that it would present its flagship machines on January 5th / January. The iQOO 9 series includes two phones, and at least one of them is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. The tippers did not hesitate in the estimation of other parameters, some specifications are known thanks to certifications and some were confirmed by the manufacturer himself.

There is a lot of information about what parameters the iQOO 9 series will get, so it may not be a good idea to summarize them the day before the launch. Exactly such a quick summary was prepared for the MySmartPrice website by the well-known tipper Ishan Agarwal. In particular, he confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor will receive both the standard model and the Pro version. Phone displays will be similar, but they will still differ in some respects. Both have a diagonal of 6.78 inches. The standard version is a flat AMOLED display with FullHD + resolution. The refresh rate is 120 Hz, the sampling frequency is 360 Hz and the fineness is 388 ppi. For versions, AMOLED has a curved display with 2K resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a sampling frequency of 300 Hz and a fineness of 517 ppi. The iQOO 9 Pro also has an ultrasonic on-screen fingerprint sensor.

The standard camera's main camera has a 50 MPix Samsung GN5 primary sensor with OIS, a 13 MPix 120 ° wide-angle lens and a 12 MPix portrait sensor. It has the same primary sensor for the model, but is complemented by a second 50 MPix sensor, which works as a 150 ° wide-angle lens and supports "fisheye" and macro modes. The last sensor has a resolution of 16 MPix and is again a portrait lens. Both phones have a 16 MPix front camera. Both phones also have a battery with a capacity of 4700 mAh and support for 120 W cable charging. We will also see 50 W of wireless charging and 10 W of reverse wireless charging for the Pro model. Furthermore, the phones have up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage and run on Android 12 with the OriginOS Ocean extension.
