Poco X5 and X5 Pro finally have a confirmed launch date

We have been dealing with the upcoming phones from the Poco X5 series for quite some time. And Poco has been drawing attention to them for just as long. We know their design and basically all the main parameters. We also know that they already have all the necessary certifications for the market launch, but we still did not know the exact date of the introduction. And this despite the fact that tipsters estimated that the manufacturer will introduce them this month. But we finally have this information today.

WHEN EXACTLY WILL THE POCO X5 SERIES PHONES ARRIVE? 

The first notification of the launch date of the Poco X5 series phones appeared on the official Twitter account of Poco Global. This means that the phones will not only go to the Indian market but will also make their way to other global markets. And that's certainly a good thing, because both models are actually rebranded Redmi phones that are only sold in China. The Poco X5 is a rebranded Redmi Note 12 5G and the X5 Pro is a rebranded Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed ​​Edition phone. But let's go back to the performance date. It is scheduled for February 6th at 20:00 GMT+8.

Considering that both Poco X5 and X5 Pro are actually Redmi phones, we are pretty clear about their specifications. Both models have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FullHD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Furthermore, the X5 model has a Snapdragon 695 processor and the X5 Pro model has a Snapdragon 778G chipset.

Both phones have fingerprint sensors integrated into the power button. The main cameras are triple in both cases. In the standard version, the camera consists of 48 MP, 8 MP and 2 MP sensors. Pro versions will then receive 108 MP, 8 MP and 2 MP sensors. The front cameras have a resolution of 13 MP and 16 MP. Both the standard X5 and X5 Pro have a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh and support for fast charging with a power of 67 W. They will arrive in global markets in new color variants, where the deep yellow with black elements on the Poco X5 Pro is especially attractive.
