OnePlus Ace 2 with Dimensity 9000 is in preparation

OnePlus, as it is known, belongs to the BBK Electronics group. Additionally, in 2021, it partnered with Oppo for mutual technology use and development. In practice, this means for us, the end users, that all products that are sent to the market by companies from BBK Electronics have similar features and often also design. Last year, the OnePlus Ace phone, which launched a new OnePlus product line for the Chinese market, was a clear proof of this. Earlier this month, the second model from this series, the OnePlus Ace 2, was launched .

The new OnePlus Ace 2 phone has an interesting design and a good price/performance ratio. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor that has delivered decent performance. Despite these indisputable advantages of this model, the manufacturer is said to be working on its second version. The tipsters claim that the second version will get a different processor, one that will make it more affordable than the original model. In fact, the head of OnePlus China, Mr. Li Jie, also confirmed this on his Weibo account .

WHAT PROCESSOR WILL THE SECOND VERSION OF THE ONEPLUS ACE 2 GET? 

Tipsters estimated that OnePlus will bet on a chipset from MediaTek's workshops for the second version of the Ace 2 phone. And they are primarily thinking about the Dimensity 9000 processor . It is built on TSMC's 4nm manufacturing technology with a maximum core clock of 3.05 GHz and a Mali-G710 GPU. Moreover, it is still among the best chipsets on the market. It also has the advantage of being cheaper than the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. So it is clear that the second version of the OnePlus Ace 2 phone will also have a lower price.

However, tipsters estimate that replacing the processor will not be the only modification. Changes also affect the main camera. The manufacturer is said to replace the primary 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor with a 64 MP OmniVision sensor. Another change may be a reduction in the power of fast charging from 100 W to 80 W. We do not yet know whether there will be further modifications. And we don't even know when exactly the second version of the Ace 2 will debut in China.
