More and more manufacturers are gradually getting involved in the production of these machines, but Samsung still maintains its leading position. But it is true that they have to face much more competition than before. A big competitor is undoubtedly the BBK Electronic group, which brings together the companies Oppo, OnePlus and Realme, including their sub-brands. The companies OnePlus and Realme are preparing their first folding machines, while Vivo is already preparing the second generation of its folding phone. This time, however, he is working on the clamshell model Vivo X Flip, which will go along with last year's model X Fold , which folds vertically.

Tipsters have been leaking information about the upcoming foldable clamshell phone Vivo X Flip on the net for some time. That's why we also know what its design is like and we also know some of the specifications. Now let's see how the phone fared in the Geekbench benchmark tests, which also confirmed some parameters.

Vivo X Flip has passed tests with the codename V2256A. According to the test listing , it is powered by an octa-core processor labeled "taro" with a maximum clock speed of 3.00 GHz on the primary core. This confirmed the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor, which was previously speculated by tipsters. During the tests, the chipset was supplemented with 12 GB of operating memory and the Android 13 system. We expect the phone to go to the Chinese market with the FunTouch OS 13 superstructure. In the single-core test, the Vivo X Flip scored 1695 points and in the multi-core test, 4338 points.

From previous rumors, we know that the X Flip has an internal display with a 6.8-inch diagonal, FullHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The battery is said to have a capacity of 4400 mAh and support for fast charging with a power of 44 W. This is the largest battery capacity and fastest charging for clamshell phones on the market so far. Among other parameters, tipsters also mention the composition of the main camera. It is dual with a 50 MP Sony IMX866 primary sensor and a 12 MP Sony IMX663 sensor that acts as a wide angle lens. The optics come from Zeiss workshops. The tipsters estimate the date of the show to be next month.
