Which Samsung phones won't get One UI 6.0?
Samsung, one of the most popular smartphone manufacturers in the world, is known for its activity in updating its devices. The company recently announced the countdown for Android 14, which should be unveiled in the coming days. Samsung has already started preparing to integrate the latest version into its own One UI 6.0 interface. Thus, the South Korean company will quickly start distributing Android 14 for compatible devices.
SAMSUNG: WHICH PHONES WON'T GET ONE UI 6.0 BASED ON ANDROID 14?
Android 14 is the latest version of the Android operating system. And it is expected to bring several new features and improvements to Samsung devices. Samsung is working closely with Google to ensure seamless integration of the new version into its devices. One UI 6.0 is also expected to bring several new features and user interface improvements .
However, not all Samsung models will receive the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update. Samsung recently changed its update policy and expanded software support for its devices. While the company has promised four major updates to the Android operating system for some of its models, it has ended support for some devices.
Google will debut Android 14 at its I/O 2023 conference on May 10. The tests are expected to continue for some time, until around the end of June, and the new version will be ready for use in July. The Korean company will start updating its compatible models by integrating the new version into its One UI 6.0 interface.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 series ( including the S21 FE model ) and every subsequent S series smartphone are eligible for four major OS update promises. The Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A73 and later models also fall into this category. However, there are several Samsung models that will not receive the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update.
