Oppo A38 is launched with fast charging support

Oppo doesn't just focus on producing premium phones. In their portfolio there are also cheap pieces, but they take over some of the specifications of more expensive models. Such phones can be found in the A product line, and just one such, the Oppo A38, debuted in the United Arab Emirates. The presentation took place in silence by listing the new model on the Oppo UAE website . However, we recently mentioned this phone with the fact that it received a number of global certifications, so it will probably reach other global markets, including Europe. Therefore, we will now look at the specifications that it offers.

THE MAIN PARAMETERS OF THE OPPO A38 PHONE

As always, in the list of parameters of the Oppo A38 phone, we will start with the display. It is of the LCD type, has a diagonal of 6.56 inches, a resolution of 1612 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The screen supports 100% DCI-P3 and sRGB color gamut as well as a brightness of up to 720 nits. The frames around the display are slightly wider, including the chin. Above it is a small teardrop notch for the front camera.

The fact that it is a cheaper phone is also proven by the Helio G85 processor, which the manufacturer used in the Oppo A38 model. Only one memory configuration goes with the chipset, namely 4 GB of operating memory and 128 GB of internal storage. But this can be further expanded up to 1 TB. Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB-C and 3.5 mm audio jack. The fingerprint sensor is located on the edge of the device.

The battery of the Oppo A38 phone has a decent capacity of 5000 mAh. The battery also supports fast charging, which has a power of 33 W. The operating system is Android 13 with the ColorOS 13.1 superstructure. Finally, we will look at the photo equipment. This includes a front 5 MPix camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and a main camera with a primary 50 MPix sensor and a 2 MPix sensor for capturing depth of field. Oppo A38 goes on the market in Glowing Black and Glowing Gold colors, but the manufacturer has not yet announced the price. The phone will look at other markets later this month. In Europe, tipsters expect a price of around 159 euros (LKR 54,937).
