Together with the phones of the Note 13 series, the Redmi Buds 5 TWS headphones also made their debut . The manufacturer announced the launch of new headphones at the last minute, stating that the headphones support ANC. So let's take a look at all their specifications and features.

REDMI BUDS 5 HEADPHONE DESIGN

The new TWS headphones are the successors to the Buds 4 model, and as such they deserve several improvements. The first thing that is visible to the naked eye is the new design. The headphones now have a stem and the appearance of the charging box has also changed. Now it is not so tall and has a rectangular shape with rounded corners and edges. There are three color variants on the market, namely white, black and light purple. The design is therefore ergonomic and the box is also easier to store thanks to the new shape.

MAIN SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES 

Of course, the main asset of the Redmi Buds 5 headphones is active noise cancellation up to 46 dB. And it is certainly good that this function is no longer just a privilege of flag carriers. The headphones also have a 2kHz wideband range and offer three levels of noise reduction. There are two microphones and AI noise cancellation for clear audio transmission during phone calls.

Redmi Buds 5 support Bluetooth 5.3 and can be configured via the Xiaomi Earbuds app. They also feature large 12.4mm dynamic drivers, a 1.6m dynamic voice coil and a robust neodymium magnet. Thanks to this, they offer accurate sound reproduction. The headphones have also received NetEase Cloud Sound certification for their hardware quality.

We must not forget the equalizer tuned by the Golden Ears team from Xiaomi. In addition, there is also the possibility of connecting two devices at once. And how are the Buds 5 headphones doing with endurance? The manufacturer claims that in combination with recharging in the box, it can last up to 40 hours of music playback. It lasts up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge. Redmi Buds 5 will cost 199 yuan ($27)(LKR 8,723) in the Chinese market. The AAPE edition is also on sale for 299 yuan ($41) (LKR 13,247). Sales are already underway and the special edition will go on sale on the 26th of September.
