The Vivo Y36 4G smartphone was introduced in Sri Lanka on September 20, 2023. The phone is a mid-range smartphone that offers a number of features and specifications at an affordable price.

The Vivo Y36 4G has a 6.64-inch IPS LCD Dotch display with a resolution of 2388 × 1080 (FHD + ) and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 (6nm) + octa-core processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. It has a water-resistant design with an IP68 rating.

The Vivo Y36 4G has a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone also has a 16MP front-facing camera.

The Vivo Y36 4G runs on Android 13 with Vivo's FunTouch OS 13 on top. The phone has a 5000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.
