OnePlus 12 takes the lead in Antutu

There are literally only a few days left until the official presentation of the OnePlus 12 phone. It will debut in the Chinese market on December 5th, and we can look forward to seeing it in global markets on January 24th. The manufacturer is quite proud of this new flagship phone, so there was no shortage of information about it. And actually even the few days until the introduction, tipsters and also OnePlus will spoil us with some new news. Probably the most important one is the info about how amazingly the upcoming phone scored in Antutu.

Of course, Antutu benchmark tests are primarily about phone performance. And as we know, the OnePlus 12 is powered by this year's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor. The chipset itself has a very decent performance, but different manufacturers are still tweaking and optimizing it for a given phone. According to the results, it seems that the performance optimization is what OnePlus did very well. Indeed, the OnePlus 12 occupied the first place in the Antutu ranking and significantly surpassed other devices with Snapdragon 8 Gen3.

WHY IS THE ONEPLUS 12 THE BEST? 

The OnePlus 12 received a total score of 2,333,033 points in Antutu. This is the highest score yet for a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 Android phone. According to the head of the Chinese branch of OnePlus, Mr. Li Jie, there are several reasons for this. Cooperation with chipset manufacturers and game developers is essential. Thanks to this, they could optimize the performance of the phone at the highest level.

Optimization took place both on the hardware and software levels. And it was tuning at the software level that supposedly brought these desired results. The OnePlus 12 phone has a clean user interface with low demands on memory and CPU. The fact that the version with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage passed the tests also did its part, which was also reflected in other results. The phone scored 12,533,566 points in the CPU tests, 904,961 points in the GPU tests and 538,511 points in the memory test. UX tests earned it 355,995 points. Of course, in order not to be too optimistic, it is necessary to add that the synthetic tests are only indicative. What is important is what performance the phone offers in real practice during normal use.
