Oppo A59 5G debuts in India

The Oppo company also gave itself one introduction before the end of this year. The event took place in India and the cheap Oppo A59 5G phone was launched. If, like us, you are old-timers, you might remember that one phone with the same name was already introduced by the manufacturer in 2016 . But then it was a model with corresponding specifications of the time. The current phone has support for 5G networks, a large battery and support for fast charging. OPPO A59 5G SPECIFICATIONS

The new Oppo A59 5G model has a flat design, including a central frame. It is quite slim at 8.12mm in waist while weighing 187 grams. The bezels around the screen are slightly wider and the chin is also wider. Above the display is a teardrop notch for the front camera. The main camera module consists of two surrounds for two sensors and an LED flash. The LCD display has a diagonal of 6.56 inches, a resolution of 1612 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. There is support for brightness up to 720 nits and 96% NTSC color gamut.

Oppo A59 5G is powered by Dimensity 6020 processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4GB/6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The internal memory can be further expanded up to 1 TB. Connectivity is represented by 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB-C and 3.5 mm audio jack. The fingerprint sensor is located on the edge of the device. The manufacturer also added stereo speakers and resistance according to IP54 certification.

The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 33 W. The operating system is Android 13 with the Color OS 13.1 superstructure. In the photo equipment of the Oppo A59 5G phone, we can find a dual main camera with a primary 13 MPix sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. The second sensor has a resolution of 2 MPix and is used to capture depth of field. The front camera has 8 MPix and f/2.0 aperture.

In the Indian market, Oppo A59 5G goes on sale in Starry Black and Silk Gold colors. Sales have been running since yesterday, for example, on the manufacturer's Indian website or on the Indian Amazon . The 4GB/128GB version costs INR 14,999, which is roughly $180. The 6GB/128GB version will then cost INR 16,999, or about $204.
