Realme Neo8 Key Specifications Leak Ahead of Launch

The Realme Neo8 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting flagship smartphones of the year. Ahead of its official debut in China, the device has appeared on China’s TENAA certification database, revealing a complete set of specifications. The listing confirms that Realme is focusing heavily on display quality, performance, and battery endurance with the upcoming Neo8.

Realme Neo8 Display: 165Hz Samsung M14 AMOLED

According to the TENAA listing, the Realme Neo8 will feature a flat 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 2772 × 1272 pixel resolution and an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate. This setup promises an excellent experience for gaming, scrolling, and multimedia consumption.

Realme has officially confirmed that the phone uses a Samsung M14 OLED panel, Samsung Display’s most advanced mobile OLED material to date. The screen can reach up to 1,000 nits manual brightness and an impressive 6,500 nits peak local brightness, while also delivering better power efficiency compared to the older M13 generation.

The panel also integrates a 16MP front-facing camera and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for fast and secure unlocking.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Power with Massive Memory Options

Under the hood, the Realme Neo8 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor (non-Elite variant). This flagship chipset is paired with up to 24GB of RAM and a massive 1TB of internal storage, making it ideal for heavy multitasking, gaming, and long-term use.

The phone runs Android 16 out of the box with Realme UI 7 layered on top, bringing the latest system optimizations and AI-powered features.

Triple Camera Setup with Periscope Zoom

On the back, the Realme Neo8 features a versatile triple camera system. The setup includes:

• 50MP primary camera
• 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom
• 8MP ultrawide camera

This camera combination suggests that Realme is aiming to deliver strong photography performance, especially in zoom and everyday shooting scenarios.

8,000mAh Battery with 80W Fast Charging

One of the standout features of the Realme Neo8 is its massive 8,000mAh battery. Despite the large capacity, the phone maintains a relatively slim profile at 8.3mm thickness and weighs 215 grams.

The device supports 80W fast charging, ensuring quick top-ups even with the large battery size.

Build Quality and Durability

The TENAA listing also confirms that the Realme Neo8 comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering high-level protection against dust and water. The phone measures 162 × 77.07 × 8.3mm, striking a balance between a large display and comfortable handling.
